Dear valued Customer,
These are tough times, the kind we haven't seen all our lives. Covid-19 has claimed millions of death worldwide and posed the twin threats to lives and livelihoods.
Some sectors of the economy is going to take several years to emerge from the havoc and prolonged disruptions inflicted by coronavirus and the resulting national lockdown. Fixed costs, such as commercial rents, bank interests, salaries and other costs, continued to accumulate during Covid-related closures without corresponding revenues. The intensely competitive textile industry, which was already under great depression post demonetisation and GST, is suffering from reduced capacity as well as lower demand.
The impact of the virus on the businesses like ours was severe. We, at Indiwear, as a responsible retailer, have incurred significant costs to meet public health restrictions and ensure staff and customers are safe. We tried to fulfill as many orders as we could when lockdown restrictions were lifted.
We decided to temporarily close our business operation after a few team members were infected. The death of a colleague due to Covid-19 only made the situation worse. Again, we have extended the closure till May 31, 2021 as we hear that India is under the grip of the new coronavirus variant that is spreading rapidly.
The orders that were not delivered during this closure period will be cancelled and amount refunded. We have already refunded to most of our international customers.
We request you to share your bank details in case you have not received your order. The details should be in the following format and should come from the email account you used to place your order:
Refunds will be done in phased manner. Inconvenience caused is deeply regretted. Please let us know if we can answer any questions or provide assistance.
We are grateful to your support, understanding, and kind assistance in the time of this pressing dilemma.
Thank you,Customer Care
