Delivery related
How long will delivery take?

Normally, for delivery (within India or outside India), it takes upto 7 business days for outfits to be delivered at your place. In case stitching is also ordered add another 4 -7 days to delivery time. Bespoke outfits may take upto 2 months to make. For more information visit Shipping & Delivery page.

What are the shipping charges?

Delivery in India is currently FREE.

Shipping cost OUTSIDE India is automatically calculated on checkout page depending on total weight and delivery destination.

Shipping cost per kg is cheaper when you order more items.

Which courier do you use to ship?

Saving cost while delivering on-time is prime objective while choosing the shipping company for our deliveries outside India. Many courier companies who accept your international parcels and documents in India will connect your shipment to global express and courier companies like FedEx, DHL, UPS, TNT, Aramex and SkyNet to be sent to international destinations. This is because, even though companies who accept your shipment have a strong network in India, no one company can service the entire globe on its own.

Therefore, while you track your shipment status, you will be redirected to tracking page of FedEx, DHL, UPS, TNT, Aramex to track your courier online.

If you have any specific queries with regards to more info on shipment, it would be advised to contact directly the Customer Care of respective Courier company for quality updates and faster resolution of your query.

How do I track my shipment?

Login to your account to view the most up-to-date status of you order or refer to shipping information sent to your email with tracking code.

Some carriers, including the UPS, may not provide tracking information. If you ordered multiple items, you may receive separate shipments with no additional shipping charges. For more information about shipping or returns, please visit online help.

Can I use a P.O. Box in shipping address?

Indiwear will only accept orders with shipment to a valid street address. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. If you use a P.O. Box address during order placement, processing your order may be delayed, and will require an address correction.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Customers having an Indian bank account can pay using ATM / Debit card, Credit Card, Netbanking, UPI Payments, eWallets, etc. We also accept cash deposit or payment via Bank Transfer (NEFT, RTGS or IMPS).

Customers outside India can pay using a valid credit card (Visa / Mastercard / Amex).

My credit card is being declined. Why?

The embarrassment of having your credit card declined is bad enough -- but why did it happen? There are many reasons why a credit card payment can be declined. We have listed the common reasons for such a refusal of payment.

Incorrect data: If you have entered a wrong billing address while buying a product online, or if you have entered a wrong credit verification value (CVV) or a wrong code for 3D secure password, the transaction will be declined.

Paying using non-Indian card: If so, please contact your card issuer bank and explain them that you are trying to purchase from Indiwear.com - an online store. They should approve the transaction. Your banks might block your cards for security issues for international transactions.

Credit Limit: There's a a fixed credit card limit (the maximum amount you can spend on your card preset by the issuer during the issuance), which if you cross or are very close to crossing could cause decline of payment.

Uncommon purchase: You have only used your credit cards to make bill payments online and suddenly you buy an expensive jewelry of Rs 50,000, this transaction will be rejected even if you have enough credit limit. The reason why such a purchase can be declined is because your credit card company thinks that it is unusual for you to do such a purchase.

Unknown location: If you live in US and if there is a credit card payment in, let's say, Russia. This transaction will be declined, because historically, all your swipes have been in US, the lender will assume it is fraudulent transaction. So if you are travelling abroad, it is a wise step to call your credit card company and inform them about your scheduled trip.

Different currency: If you have always made bought in dollars and suddenly if you use your card to buy an outfit online in rupees that too with a heavy amount, this transaction might be declined. Call your credit card company and give them a heads up before making such a purchase.

Card payment not going through. I'm getting Card bin stop listed message.
Card bin stop listed means that the BIN number (a part of your card number) is among a list of black-listed on account of fraud threat. There have been a series of card related frauds in international cards, as a result of which certain bins have been marked as suspect. BIN -- short for Bank Identification Number -- is the first six digits of the card, signifying which network and bank the card comes from.In case your card is not being accepted on Indiwear for order payment you can choose an alternate mode of payment listed here.
How secure is shopping? Is my data protected?
Indiwear uses the most powerful secure socket layer (SSL) for encrypting customer data during transactions. To put this into non-technical terms, it would take 340,000,000,000 years for today's fastest computers to crack SSL.
How to resolve Authorization Failed: Do Not Honor
If you got the "Authorization Failed: Do Not Honor" error during trying to make payment with your credit or debit card first of all you can try to:
  • wait 30 minutes
  • use a different browser or clear cookies and restart the browser so that a new purchase session is used when you replace the order.
  • be sure you have entered correct CVV/CVC code !

The information passes validation on our end and an actual authorization request is sent but the bank is declining the authorization. The most common cause for this error is that Indiwear is located in India (outside of the country that your bank is located in) so it is showing up as an international transaction.

How to resolve the issue:

Contact the bank and let them know that you want the transaction to go through (they will be able to see the authorization attempts) and then replace the order.

If you still receive problems then your purchase session is probably locked because of previous declines. You must wait 30 minutes, use a different browser or clear browser cookies and restart browser so that a new purchase session is used when you replace the order.

I live outside India and don’t own a credit card? How do I pay?

You can use TransferWise.com, a safe, fast and hassle-free method to transfer money to us. Making transfers is easy. Go to the TransferWise website, type in your and our bank details and how much you want to transfer. You can then either type in your debit card details or send the money to TransferWise from your online bank account. You will receive a confirmation email when the money has been received. Most transfers happen the same day – it normally takes a bank twice as long.

Fees for sending USD to INR (Up to 10000 USD): 0.9% (minimum fee: 2.7 USD)
Fees for sending GBP to INR (Up to 10000 USD): 0.7% (minimum fee: 2 GBP)
